When I tell people that I am aTarot Card Reader, one of the common questions I receive is “What are Tarot Cards and Do they really work? To this I would like to give, my version of How’sandwhat’s of Tarot Cards.
What are Tarot Cards?
Tarot cards are tools of guidance and like any other tools of guidance they provide help when you can’t decide your next step. They are a deck of 78 cards which have evolved since 1800 with the help of many eminent Tarot Readers in the world. Pamela Coleman Smith was the major contributor in bringing life to these cards. She painted and revived the cards.Arthur Edward Waite commonly known as A. E. Waite, was an American-born British poet and scholarly mystic who wrote extensively on occult and esoteric matters, and was the co-creator of the Rider-Waite Tarot deck. Tarot tells us the story of our life, the mirror to our soul, and the key to our inner wisdom. Every situation we meet in our lives can be found in the seventy-eight Tarot cards. Tarot allows us to tap into the wisdom and answers that live in us all. Tarot is perfect for self-development, coaching, decision making, manifesting goals and to help you evolve you as a better person in this life.
So what Tarot Card actually does..
When I started as a Tarot Reader I assumed that Tarot will tell the future, give predictions etc. Slowly I realised that it is not what I thought. Tarot is not about fortune-telling but it is the most powerful way to access your intuition and your inner wisdom. The imagery in the cards give you instant access to your subconscious mind and your intuition. And from this place of inner power and wisdom, you can discover how to make positive changes now so you can manifest your goals and your dreams in the future. I am now a firm believer that future is very fluidic and has the potential to change with the choices we make every day. Nothing is etched on stone that it cannot be changed.
For Example: My own Life
I met a lot of astrologers when I was in studying but no one even vaguely predicted that I will get into this line of occult sciences. It was only by accident that I got pulled into Tarot and related sciences. I was so into it that one day I just quit my 10 years of successful career as an Investment banker and took Tarot Reading full time. Today I am extremely happy where I have reached and can’t imagine my life not being a Tarot Reader.
